Being able to actually see the algebraic expressions you are studying in real time graphical format is a great aid to learning.

Desmos is free online graphing software.  Super flexible, powerful and easy to use.  I highly recommend to all my high school students.  My favourite graphical tool out there!

Getting immediate feedback on homework and problem solving practice in math is one of the study skills I strongly recommend to my students.  You need to know if you are doing problems incorrectly right away to avoid having to 'undo' incorrect learning.  Building self-correcting and self-analysis skills are crucial to success in math.

Ixl is a useful, comprehensive, adaptive, online math practice website designed for K to 12 students.  Students can practice, and receive immediate feedback on their answers.  Not free, but a valuable service.
